Table Mountain Stone Installation

Read and carefully follow all of the installation instructions provided. Observe all necessary safety precautions. Check with your local building authority before starting your project as building code requirements vary from area to area. Table Mountain Stone products are covered by a 50 year limited warranty when installed in accordance with the following instructions.

ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF STONE REQUIRED:
To determine the quantity of stone required you must first measure the area to be covered and then calculate it into SQUARE FEET (sf). Square footage is calculated by multiplying length by height for all areas where stone will be applied. Make sure to deduct any non-stone areas such as windows or door openings and subtract from the total area calculation.

You will need to perform a separate calculation for any application of outside corner stones. This measurement is called LINEAR FEET (lf). Linear feet are calculated by measuring the total height of the area to be covered by corner stones. For each linear foot of corner stone there will be one square foot of stone coverage. The total linear footage should be subtracted from the total square footage.

Please use the formula below for your calculation of “flat” stone needed:

Total Area Of Stone Coverage
(subtract) for windows, doors, etc.
(subtract) linear feet of any corner stone needed*
= Total Square Feet of Flat Stone needed

*NOTE: Order both “flat” (sf) and “corner” (lf) pieces separately.

It is recommended that your order include a 5-10% overage for safety stock.
